Hook
This channel has spent dozens of lessons on how to keep accounts. Today's lesson is about us — who LTT is, what we believe, and where we are going. Not an advertisement; just saying it up front, because before you hand your books to a firm you should know what it is made of.
Mission: a specialty, not general practice
LTT's mission in one line: to provide extremely accurate outsourced bookkeeping and annual compliance to Malaysia's micro-enterprises and owner-managed businesses. Note the word specialty. We do bookkeeping and accounting only, not general consulting (the seventh lesson covered what we do not do) — focus is what makes depth possible. And one thing we insist on: director-led. Clients' books are personally overseen by the founder, Lim Tau Tat. Your books are not handed to "someone on some team". They are handed to a person who has put his name on them.
Vision: fully cloud, facing forward
Our vision is to be Malaysia's most trusted and most digitally advanced specialist accounting practice — long experience paired with new tools. We believe in a future where every small business can afford world-class cloud accounting. You saw our AI tools in the fourteenth lesson and the system we chose in the twenty-second. That is not showing off; it is paving the road to that future.
Values: four things we are made of
Four values, and they are what our work is made of. One, client first — service starts from what you need, so we understand your business before we touch your books (the eleventh lesson). Two, explained plainly — numbers are not thrown at you, they are classified, analysed and laid out so you can read them at a glance. This series is itself a product of that value. Three, digitally clean — one hundred percent cloud and paperless, with files retrievable at any moment (the seventh and fifteenth lessons). Four, reachable at any time — we are on WhatsApp, and a question is one message away.
What it means for you
Stating a mission and a vision is not sloganeering — it decides what service you get. A specialty, so the detail is done deeply. The founder accountable, so somebody owns the quality. Fully cloud, so you can see your own numbers whenever you want. Present on WhatsApp, so you do not get read and ignored. That is what you actually receive when you hand your books to LTT.
To close
If that is a fit for you — grab a coffee first and talk about your business. For the accounting, come to LTT. I am Lim Tau Tat, helping SME bosses get their accounts straight. Follow us, and see you next time.
03Common questions
Does LTT do audits?
No. We do bookkeeping, tax filing and payroll compliance; the audit goes to an independent auditor, which also keeps the independence position clean for you.
Can I reach you personally?
Yes. The books are overseen by the founder personally, and the important judgements are not outsourced to someone unfamiliar with your business.
Are your fees published?
They are. See EP13 and EP32 — how the fee is worked out and where the cost sits, we can explain both.
