Every rule we work by, written once — then taught properly.
LTT Academy is the canonical home for our file naming, folder, chart-of-accounts and document standards, and for the Malaysian compliance knowledge built on top of them. The rule lives in one place. Lessons cite it — they never restate it.
Free and open where the standard helps everyone. Private where it is house IP.
How this site is built
Most training sites rot because the course and the rule drift apart. Here they cannot: a lesson is an ordered path through the canon, not a second copy of it.
The rule, stated once
SOP001–005, the Chart of Accounts, entity prefixes, glossary terms. Versioned, anchored, cited by ID. Never taught, never duplicated.
One teachable idea, 5–7 minutes
Quotes canon at a version-stamped anchor, then adds what an SOP has no room for: worked examples, the three mistakes people actually make, and practice.
An ordered path for one audience
The same lesson may appear in four tracks. It exists once, at one URL. Change it and every track that includes it is updated.
Four tracks, one lesson library
Pick the one that describes you. Counts shown are the finished shape of each track; lessons are published in the order set out in the build sequence.
SME Owner
You run a Malaysian business and want to know what you are actually obliged to do, and when.
- The SME compliance calendar
- e-Invoice: who it binds, and when
- EPF, SOCSO, EIS and Form E
- Reading your management accounts
Client Desk
You keep the records at a client we serve. This is the induction we currently give by hand, every time.
- Naming a document so it files itself
- Bill vs Inv — the direction rule
- Shallow not deep: the folder rule
- FileWhiz, month-end handover, confidentiality
Practice
You work at LTT. Everything: the standards, all thirteen MiniApps, close and reconciliation craft, and how we build.
- Foundation F01–F16
- Every MiniApp, T01–T13
- Month-end, bank rec, working papers
- Builder: SOP001 tokens, app standards, deploy
Certified
The full standard plus Malaysian compliance, assessed on demonstrated work rather than time served.
- Foundation and compliance in full
- Graded practicals inside the real apps
- Module checks at 80% to pass
- Certificate naming under MIA review
The canon
One address per rule. Every loose PDF copy in Drive redirects here, and superseded copies are moved out of the way. Circulate the link, never the file.

399 accounts, browsable and searchable. Leaf accounts only; headers never posted to. |

Inside every lesson
The same seven blocks, in every track, in both languages. Uniformity is the point — after three lessons you know exactly where to look. Anything longer than seven minutes is two lessons.
Why this matters
Two sentences. The cost of getting it wrong, in real terms.
The rule
Quoted from canon, bordered, version-stamped. Not rewritten.
Worked example
A real LTT artefact — an actual filename, an actual posting. Never invented placeholders.
Three common mistakes
Exactly three, drawn from what actually goes wrong. This is the block people remember.
Try it — inside the real app
The MiniApp itself, embedded in sandbox mode, grading your work. See right.
Check yourself
Three to five questions, auto-graded, unlimited retries, no record kept.
Canon reference
Source document, section, version, date — linked back to the canon page.
Malaysian compliance, kept current
The most valuable pages on this site are also the most perishable. Every one carries a named owner, a review date, and a visible “verified as at” stamp — and is withdrawn rather than left standing if the review lapses.
The SME compliance calendar
The Malaysian filing year on one page — LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, SSM and SST, with what falls due in each month.
e-Invoice / MyInvois
Who it binds and from when; consolidated and self-billed invoices; validation, rejection and the 72-hour window.
Tax, payroll and statutory
SST for professional services; EPF, SOCSO and EIS; PCB; Forms E, B/BE/P and C; CP204 and CP500; withholding; capital allowances; SSM and MBRS; audit exemption; record retention; PDPA.
Rates, thresholds and deadlines are verified against the current LHDN, RMCD and SSM guidelines before each publication and at every scheduled review. Nothing here is a substitute for advice on your own facts.
Start where you are
Read the standard
SOP002, SOP003 and SOP005 are public, in full, at a permanent address. Take them and use them — a standard is only worth anything once people follow it.
